Recently, we were called to a property in Willow Vale, QLD to provide a termite inspection and subsequent termite treatment.
The customer had not gotten a prior Building and Pest Inspection on the home. When renovations began, the carpenter pulled out the old window and there was extensive termite damage and live termites. This is not ideal when termites are disturbed as it can restrict our internal baiting treatment option.
Our qualified, insured Timber Pest Inspector conducted a thorough termite inspection of the house to assess the extent of the damage and how far the termites had trekked. During the inspection, we found evidence of termites (commonly known as white ants) which had already caused damage to several areas of the home.
The next step was to treat the termites for eradication.
Once the Termidor chemical treatment was completed, we gave our customer an extensive report detailing all areas inspected, areas treated, recommendations for further termite control measures and ongoing Pest Management Plan.
